Let’s work together to help you feel more connected, empowered, and free to live the life you want.

Hi, I’m Han (she/her)

I’m a licensed psychologist based in Portland, Oregon, offering culturally responsive, trauma-informed therapy for individuals and couples across Oregon and Washington. I specialize in supporting people navigating the impact of trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and identity-related concerns.

I’m deeply committed to helping you gently explore the painful parts of your experience and reconnect with your values, strengths, and the deeper longings of your heart. Together, we’ll cultivate greater self-compassion and acceptance, break unhelpful patterns, and foster meaningful, lasting change.

My approach honors your wisdom, culture, and lived experience, blending these with evidence-based interventions. This includes Compassion-Focused Interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE).

I offer online therapy (telehealth) in English or Vietnamese, providing accessible, culturally responsive care wherever you are in Oregon or Washington.

Our work is a collaborative process to ensure your healing journey feels authentic, empowering, and aligned with who you are.

A little about me

Lush forest floor with ferns and moss-covered rocks representing healing and growth in therapy.

I identify as a Vietnamese American, cisgender, heterosexual, able-bodied woman. I was born in Vietnam and grew up in a low-income immigrant household in the Pacific Northwest — experiences that, alongside my professional training, shape my understanding of how systems and identities impact emotional well-being.

I bring a multicultural, holistic lens to therapy, understanding each client’s experiences within the context of their unique history, culture, and community. Whether you're processing trauma, navigating anxiety or depression, or coping with identity-related stress, I strive to create a safe, affirming space where you feel seen and supported.

I’m passionate about serving marginalized communities, including BIPOC individuals, immigrants, and those impacted by systemic oppression. Outside of my work, I enjoy cooking, reading, volunteering, and being in nature in and around Portland, Oregon.

With over 10 years of clinical experience, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds in a variety of settings, including:

  • Veterans Affairs Medical Centers

  • Psychological Services Center at the University of Memphis

  • Community Mental Health Clinics

  • Group Practice Settings

I completed a predoctoral internship at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System and a postdoctoral fellowship at Portland Psychotherapy Clinic, Research, and Training Center. These experiences refined my expertise in evidence-based therapies for complex trauma, PTSD, self-criticism, shame, anxiety, and depression.
